Singing Professionally Since the Age of 13, Brenda Jones has performed in numerous talent shows throughout NY state. She's performed in many clubs throughout the city such as Billie Holiday Theatre, Apollo theater, Studio54, The Lime Light, Paradise Garage, and Sweetwaters to name a few. Brenda is the former lead vocalists for the Queen's New York based band Milestone. She has studied extensively under the astute tutelage of Juilliard trained vocalist and composer Patricia Holley. She signed with a New York based Independent Label: "Wave Records". Her first single titled "My Hearts Not In It" came in at No.5 on Billboard's Dance Chart and No.10 on the Club Charts. She has shared the stage with Madonna, Nona Hendrix (formerly of LaBelle) and Laura Branigan. Shes toured with the nostalgic group "The Crystals" ("Da Doo Ron Ron"). She was featured on the single "Say it Again" with the group Sinnamon on Spring Records. She was Also The Featured Vocalists on Chaz Jenkel's album on A&M Records, song titled: "Your My Occupation" Brenda has worked for several years in club date bands traveling around the country. She is now returning to the spotlight currently working on her first solo album. |
